BOOK COVER (6 × 9 in)_edited.jpg

Doris J. Boynton is a writer and passionate advocate for faith-based healing. She studied Christian Ministries at Point University in Peachtree City, Georgia, where she obtained a degree that fueled her dedication to serving others. Doris later earned a Certification in Biblical Teaching from Travell College of the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, deepening her understanding of scripture and its life-changing power. After the passing of her husband, Doris found comfort in the scriptures, particularly 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, which spoke deeply to her heart. This scripture reminded her that as God comforts us in our sorrow, He calls us to comfort others. Doris felt God speaking to her, urging her to not only accept His healing but to also share a devotional for widows, offering encouragement and hope to those walking through similar grief. It was during this time that she began journaling her experiences, documenting the ways in which God was healing and rebuilding her, and eventually felt led to share this devotional with others. In addition to writing, Doris is deeply committed to helping others navigate grief and discover the peace and hope that comes from God’s word. She resides in Georgia, where she continues her work in faith, supporting those on their own paths of healing and renewal.
